About Jing Sun

Ms SUN is the Principal Solicitor and Founder of Sun Lawyers. She has over 16 years of legal experience advising individuals, business owners, investors and corporations across a broad range of commercial, corporate, litigation and immigration matters.

Ms SUN's current practice focuses on commercial and corporate law, business transactions, dispute resolution, insolvency and restructuring matters and strategic advisory work for small to medium-sized enterprises. She regularly assists clients with business sales and acquisitions, shareholders disputes, commercial agreements, debt recovery, contractual disputes, leasing matters and general corporate governance issues.

In litigation and dispute resolution matters, Ms SUN provides practical and commercially focused advice to clients involved in complex disputes. She works closely with business owners and investors to identify solutions, manage legal risk and resolve disputes through negotiation, mediation and, where necessary, court proceedings. Her approach is always focused on achieving commercially sensible outcomes while minimising risk and unnecessary costs.

In addition to her commercial practice, Ms SUN remains highly regarded in the field of Australian immigration law. Having successfully handled thousands of immigration matters throughout her career, she possesses extensive experience in business and investment migration, employer-sponsored visas, visa cancellations, merits review applications and judicial review proceedings.

Ms SUN is also a Notary Public and regularly assists clients with the authentication and certification of Australian documents for use overseas.

Ms SUN speaks fluent English and Mandarin.
