Usually yes, if at least one of you is an Australian citizen, permanent resident or has lived in Australia for the last 12 months. We can advise on the exact test.
What happens to assets held in China?
Australian courts can consider overseas assets when dividing the matrimonial pool, though enforcement in China is complex. We coordinate with a mainland lawyer where recovery in China is important.

How much does a divorce cost?
